If you have new clients, there are two ways to get us to run a benefits check:
Send them the white-label booking flow that you were provided when activated. See Provider sourced - insurance || booking flow for details.
Add them to Healthie making sure to include their personal information, insurance details, and date of birth making sure to add them to the āprovider sourced - insuranceā client group (provider sourced - insurance). The provider assigned to the client will be notified once the check is complete.
Weāve released a brand new booking + insurance flow for all of our private practices to use on their own channels.
The benefits of using this flow are:
Clients are matched with one of your providers who can see them based on insurance and location. If no match, they are advised to reach out to you directly.
All of the insurance + billing information is collected and they are automatically queued for a benefits check.
They book an appointment ā weāve seen big conversion increases from getting clients to lock down a date in this flow instead of submitting information and going through back + forth
Much less admin on your end!
*NOTE: This flow will only work for new clients who do not have their email already in Healthie*
A few things to keep in mind when using this flow:
Your providers must fill out the (same as the one linked above) and set up availability for the āInitial Assessment - 90 minutes (PS)ā appointment type in order for our team to activate them in the flow.
Clients who fill out the form will be automatically added to your Healthie account as a āprovider sourced - insuranceā group. Itās important to edit your intake flow for this group to ensure they arenāt getting duplicate forms like insurance or billing.
The provider that they choose will get an email explaining the insurance benefits once they are run. Itās up to you on the process that youād like to follow to communicate the benefits and any sort of cash options available.
If a patient goes through your group practice PS link and no providers match with their insurance coverage, donāt worry ā weāve got you covered! While they won't be able to book an appointment in the flow, weāll collect their contact information and add them to the provider sourced - private pay group in Healthie, giving you the opportunity to review these patients and reach out directly with self pay rates. Offering self-pay services can be a game changer for your practice, increasing client retention and providing more flexibility in how you operate. This is a great opportunity to expand your reach, grow your client base, and offer a streamlined experience for those who are ready to pay out-of-pocket!
